At Sun Chiropractic have been proudly serving the Crestview area of Winnipeg for over 20 years. The clinic is a multi-chiropractor facility, including four chiropractors and a massage therapist. Sun Chiropractic offers traditional manual chiropractic treatments as well as low force chiropractic techniques (using the Activator and Torque Release devices). The clinic also offers the following services: acupuncture, laser, ultrasound, electrotherapy, Active Release Techniques®, Trigenics and custom orthotics.
Dr. Castle is the owner of Sun Chiropractic Centre where she has been practicing for twenty years. A proud Winnipegger, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba. From there she went on to complete her chiropractic education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, receiving the Chiropractic Science Award and earning the top mark on her National Board Examinations.
Dr. Castle has been actively involved in continuing education and was one of the first chiropractic acupuncturists in Winnipeg. She has also completed three years of course work towards a chiropractic sports specialty. She regularly attends continuing education sessions on a wide variety of topics including nutrition, pediatric care, rehabilitation and ongoing chiropractic research.
Dr. Castle has a family practice which includes care for patients of all ages. She strives to provide quality care for patients of all ages and stages of life. This includes utilizing a variety of chiropractic treatment methods as well as modalities. In addition to private practice Dr. Castle has worked as a third party examiner.
Dr. Castle values an active, healthy lifestyle and is herself a committed runner who has completed both full and half marathons.
She is married to Dr. Baron and is the mother of three very active children.
Dr. Baron has been practicing in the St. James are of Winnipeg for the past 20 years. A native of Edmonton he received his undergrad degree from the University of Alberta and went on to complete his chiropractic education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Moving to Winnipeg in 1997 to start a family and practice.
Since beginning practice Dr. Baron has been actively involved in continuing education including becoming one of the first chiropractic acupuncturists in Winnipeg. Additionally Dr. Baron is a full body certified ART provider and has completed 3 years of course and practical work for a chiropractic sports specialty.
Dr. Baron is a long standing member of the Manitoba Chiropractic Association’s standards committee and past chair of the education committee. He is also a past president of the Metro Business Club of Winnipeg
As a committed runner and triathlete Dr. Baron has gained an appreciation for how chiropractic can help athletes of all ages recover faster and perform better. Aside from general chiropractic practice Dr. Baron has a special interest in sports injuries of all varieties and is committed to helping his patients achieve their personal health goals as quickly as possible.
Dr. Baron is married to Dr. Castle. When not driving one of their three children to an activity he is actively involved in coaching soccer.
Dr. Darrell Minuk graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1983 and has been practicing in Winnipeg for 30 years. Dr. Minuk has a special interest in whiplash and lower back injuries.
In addition to private practice Dr. Minuk has been a member of the Board of the Manitoba Chiropractic Association (MCA) for 9 years, during which time he was president of the Board for 2 years. While on the Board Dr. Minuk was chairman of the Complaints committee, Standards committee, MPI affairs, WCB affairs, MHSC affairs and the Negotiations Committee.
Dr. Minuk was also elected as the MCA’s representative to the Board of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College from 1997 to 2002. In recognition of his extensive association activities the MCA presented Dr. Minuk with the Distinguished Service Award in 2004. Dr. Minuk has been married to Jill for 30 years and has two children.
